I mentioned some about-ish information in my inaugural entry, but I’ll go over it again here. I was born in Ventura, California, but moved to Tennessee a year later and moved to Hendersonville at age five, where I’ve lived for the last twenty years. In that time, I’ve travelled all over the country, where I’ve found one of my favorite parts of traveling is trying local foods. I’ve eaten at some of the best local places the country has to offer, places I’d definitely rather not eat at again, and, at one point, a restaurant that was featured on Kitchen Nightmares years later and has closed down.
For the Lakeside Chowdown, I decided to shine a spotlight on what we have to offer here in my hometown, as well as some of the surrounding cities. Some of these places I’ve been to before, but others I haven’t and want to record my first impression.
I know the personal information here is pretty vague, but the truth is I’m actually quite squeamish when it comes to public information. Still, I hope you enjoy my impressions of the local cuisine, whether you’re from around here or out of town.
